3. PRODUCT INFORMATION
This section sets out the essential characteristics of the product or products subject to the contract. The essential characteristics of the goods or services are available at root.work and can be reviewed on the relevant product pages.
The total sales price, including applicable taxes, is displayed on the order summary screen.

Delivery Method: Delivery to the address provided.
Orders placed after 16:00 are processed on the next business day and handed over to the courier within 3 business days for delivery to the Buyer or a third party designated by the Buyer. Delivery time may vary depending on the Buyer’s location.
4. VALIDITY PERIOD
Prices displayed on the Site are sales prices. Published prices and offers remain valid until updated. Offers announced for a specific period remain valid for that period.
This Pre-Contractual Information Form must be read and accepted electronically by the Consumer before the consumer contract is concluded.
5. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
For distance contracts relating to the sale of goods, the Consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the date the product is delivered to the Consumer or to a person or organization designated by the Consumer, without giving any reason and without incurring any legal or contractual penalty. Costs arising from the exercise of the right of withdrawal are borne by the SELLER as required by applicable Turkish law.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Consumer must notify the SELLER within the 14-day period by registered mail, email or telephone.
Where the right of withdrawal is exercised, the SELLER will refund the payments required by applicable law within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice. The product must be sent back by the BUYER within 14 days of the withdrawal notice. Where the designated return carrier is used, return shipping is covered by the SELLER in accordance with applicable Turkish law.
When returning the product, the BUYER should include, where applicable:
a) the invoice for the product,
b) the return form,
c) the product, its box or packaging and any accessories, complete and undamaged.
The BUYER may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, as provided by applicable law.
6. EXERCISE OF THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
6.1. The BUYER acknowledges that they have reviewed the essential characteristics of the product, the sales price, payment method and delivery information on root.work and have provided the required electronic confirmation.
6.2. In distance contracts, the Consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days without giving a reason. Notice may be sent within this period to hello@root.work or in writing to the Seller’s address stated above.
6.3. The SELLER is responsible for handing the product over to the carrier complete, undamaged and in accordance with the order specifications, together with any applicable warranty documents and instructions.
6.4. Before the performance obligation expires, the SELLER may provide a different product of equivalent quality and price only after informing the BUYER and obtaining the BUYER’s express consent.
6.5. If fulfillment of the order becomes impossible, the SELLER will inform the BUYER and refund the total amount within 14 days, as required by applicable law.
6.6. Delivery is subject to electronic approval of this Pre-Contractual Information Form. If payment is not made or is canceled in bank records, the SELLER is released from the obligation to deliver the product.
6.7. If, after delivery, the BUYER’s credit card is used unlawfully by a third party without the BUYER’s fault and the relevant bank does not pay the product price to the SELLER, the BUYER must return the product to the SELLER within 3 days. Shipping costs in this circumstance are borne by the BUYER.
6.8. If delivery cannot be completed on time due to force majeure or extraordinary circumstances, the SELLER will inform the BUYER. The BUYER may cancel the order, request an equivalent product or postpone delivery. If the order is canceled, the amount paid will be refunded within 14 days.
7. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, the right of withdrawal does not apply in the cases excluded under applicable law, including:
- products made to the Consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized,
- goods liable to deteriorate rapidly or expire,
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery.
The other exceptions listed in Article 15 of the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation (Official Gazette No. 29188 dated November 27, 2014) also apply.
8. FEES
No additional charge is imposed on the Consumer merely for using the Site to place an order.
9. CONSUMER COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES
The Consumer may submit complaints or disputes to the competent Consumer Arbitration Committees or Consumer Courts in the Consumer’s place of residence or the place where the consumer transaction took place, in accordance with applicable Turkish law.
