Account & Membership

Do I need to create an account to place an order?

No, you can place an order on root.work without creating an account. However, registering allows you to track your orders, save your address, and enjoy a faster checkout experience.

How can I create an account?

Creating an account is simple. Click “Sign In” at the top right and enter your name, email and a password. That’s all it takes.

Forgot your password?

Click “Forgot password?” on the login page to create a new one.

What information can I access in my account?

Your account lets you view previous orders, manage delivery details and keep track of your payments.

How can I delete my account?

Due to Shopify’s infrastructure, users cannot delete their accounts directly. To request the deletion of your account, please email us at hello@root.work. Your request will be processed as soon as possible in accordance with applicable regulations.

Orders

How do I receive order confirmation and tracking details?

Once your order is complete, you’ll automatically receive a confirmation email. As soon as your order ships, you’ll get a second email with tracking details. If you don’t see either message, be sure to check your spam folder or contact us at hello@root.work.

Can I make changes to my order?

Yes, as long as your order hasn’t been prepared for shipment, we can help you update details such as the product, delivery address or a gift note. Just reach out to us at hello@root.work and we’ll take care of it.

Can I cancel my order?

If your order hasn’t been shipped yet, we can process your cancellation request right away. For orders that have already been dispatched, our return process will apply instead.

What should I do if my order is incomplete or incorrect?

If this happens, please take a photo of the item and email us at hello@root.work. We’ll review it promptly and offer a solution right away.

My invoice wasn’t included in the package. How can I get it?

All order invoices are sent digitally via email. If you haven’t received yours, please check your spam folder or get in touch with us.

Which payment methods do you accept?

All purchases made on www.root.work can be securely paid using Visa, Mastercard, and all major debit or credit cards.

Your payment is processed through our secure infrastructure, encrypted with a 256-bit SSL certificate for maximum protection.

Returns & Exchanges

Can I return my item?

Yes. You can return your item within 14 days of delivery, as long as it is unused and in its original packaging.

How can I start the return process?

You can contact us by sending an email to hello@root.work. We’ll guide you through each step of the return process.

Who covers the return shipping cost?

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. However, in the case of defective or incorrect items, all related expenses will be covered by us.

If your package is lost or not delivered, what should you do?

If your order status shows as “delivered” but you have not received your package:

– Please check around your delivery location such as the building entrance, security desk or with neighbors

– Then contact the shipping carrier directly to request detailed tracking information

If you still cannot locate your package after these steps, contact us at hello@root.work. We will review the situation with you and work on a quick solution.

What happens if my package is returned to you?

If your package is returned to us due to delivery failure (such as incomplete address, refusal to accept, or incorrect information), an additional shipping fee may be required for reshipment.

To avoid such issues, please make sure your address details are complete and accurate.

Product Details & Manufacturing

Can I purchase an item that is out of stock again?

Our products are produced in limited quantities and restocked periodically.

If you’re waiting for a specific item, you can use the “notify me when available” option on the product page or contact us at hello@root.work.

Where and how are ROOT products made?

All ROOT products are designed and made in Istanbul. Throughout the production process, we prioritize quality, aesthetics, and sustainability. The materials we use are shared transparently on each product page.

Can I place a custom order?

We currently do not offer custom production or personalization services. However, we are working on making these options available in the near future.

Gifting & Packaging

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Our products are shipped in their own custom boxes with protective packaging. Every order is carefully prepared in ROOT’s signature minimalist shipping boxes. While we do not offer additional gift wrapping services, a ROOT package is already designed to deliver a thoughtful and gift-worthy experience.

Can I add a gift note?

Yes. The message you write in the note section during checkout will be delivered with your order on a simple, elegant card.

How are the products packaged?

All of our products are carefully packaged in ROOT’s signature boxes, designed with attention to detail and a focus on aesthetics.
