In Tales and Games, the aim is to encourage children to use darkness and shadows along with light, thereby removing darkness as a source of fear. Additionally, the game provides tools with different rules to allow children to express their fears through the stories they tell.
In Tales and Games, one player becomes the storyteller while others become listeners. The storyteller randomly selects a story card and gathers the materials indicated in the story booklet (finger puppets, color filters, etc.), then tells a story following the instructions in the story.
At the end of the story, the listeners choose one of their scoring cards to rate the story.
The next player becomes the storyteller, and the game ends when all players have taken turns as storytellers. The player with the highest score wins the game.
