Purpose
The Pursuit of Kindness board game was collaboratively developed with clinical psychologists, anthropologists, and educators to help children understand and differentiate between good and bad behaviors and to assist them with peer bullying issues. Peer bullying is a widespread problem among children. The Pursuit of Kindness game was created to enhance children’s awareness of physical, emotional, verbal, and cyberbullying and to develop skills in building healthy relationships through interaction and collaboration/competition dynamics with other children.
The game aims to help children develop coping skills for dealing with bullying situations through examples of peer bullying, as well as fostering collaboration and trust-based dialogues through gameplay and winning strategies.
